Nervous System Health

What is stress doing to your nervous system?

graph

Your nervous system controls nearly every cell, tissue and organ in your body. So, common sense says, when it is free from interference your whole body works better. The problem is that daily physical stresses like accidents or injuries, emotional stresses like money worries or family troubles, and chemical stresses like smoke or poor diet build up and decrease your nervous system’s ability to do its job. At BEST U we have technology to look at the effects of stress on your nervous system.

We use computerized thermography to get insight into your autonomic nervous system.  These nerves are how your brain communicates with your heart, lungs, liver and all your other organs.  It is also how your brain communicates with your immune system and your glands.

We use surface electromyography or EMG to look at the communication between your brain and your muscles. From posture, to walking, to playing sports your brain controls it all.

These tests are painless, non-invasive and results are immediate and simple to read.
